No-Tool Installation:
If you have an exposed beam in a patio, alfresco, verandah or deck, simply follow the digital instructions and throw the daisy-chain over the beam. Many customers also tell us that they have just used a tree branch!
Beam or Ceiling Installation:
If you’re wanting to install inside your swing on a ceiling, remember to use a stud finder to locate the wooden beam. You will need to screw through the ceiling, into the beam, to ensure a safe and secure swinging experience.
If you live in an apartment and you’ve got concrete ceilings, no need to bother with a stud finder. You can pop your swing wherever you’d like. We’ve included concrete screws, you’ll just need an electric drill.
Installing a sensory swing can be as simple as attaching the provided daisy chain to an exposed beam or tree branch.

Using a stud finder and drill will make the process even easier.
Use a drill if installing into a wooden beam. A stud finder will make this easier if installing into the ceiling.
The swing fabric itself carries 200kg.
However carrying this load will depend on the structure you attach the swing to. The best option is either drilling into a structural beam in your ceiling or directly into concrete.
The swing will not remain hanging if you simply drill into your ceiling plasterboard.
